EDGE Experts Training

To become an EDGE Expert, candidate need to undergo an 8-hour training and take the EDGE Exam.

The course covers:

To minimize our environmental impact, we primarily offer live-streamed training sessions. This format enables you to participate remotely from your home or office, guided by a virtual trainer who leads the webcast. During these sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to ask real-time questions and actively engage with both the trainer and fellow participants.

1. Who are EDGE Experts?

IFC recently launched a new professional role as part of the EDGE green building certification system – EDGE Expert.

An EDGE Expert is a professional who helps a developer, owner and larger project team understand the EDGE standard, software and certification system.
The scope of the EDGE Expert’s work includes advice on green design and assistance with preparation of an application for EDGE certification.

The EDGE Technical Workshop will help EDGE project teams understand the EDGE standard, use the software application, and navigate the certification process.

5. How can I become an EDGE Expert?

To become EDGE Expert, you must complete a mandatory 1-day EDGE Expert training through online or offline mode. Once you have completed the training, IFC will email an EDGE Exam ID to you to book your EDGE Expert exam slot. The eligible candidate must pass the EDGE Exam to be considered an EDGE Expert.
